Program Overview:

The Facilitator Program is a comprehensive training and certification initiative designed to target the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to excel as facilitators with the Connect for Teams program. This certification will provide the pathway for creating lasting impact across teams.

 

Take A Step Towards Certification

Key Program Components:

1. Theory & Concepts: The program will provide a deep understanding of facilitation principles, theories, and best practices, allowing participants to apply them effectively in situations beyond facilitation.

2. Facilitation Skills & Techniques: Participants will develop or refresh the core foundation facilitation skills, including effective communication, active listening, group dynamics, and conflict resolution. The program will cover a range of facilitation techniques for a variety of different situations.

3. Practical Experience: Participants will have opportunities to practice their facilitation skills in a supportive and constructive environment, receiving feedback to improve their abilities to successfully facilitate the Connect for Teams program.

You'll directly experience the transformative impact it has on both your professional and personal life. It's essential to firsthand witness the benefits of this curriculum before stepping into roles as both a champion and facilitator.

Day Two: Theory & Concepts

Facilitator Training Day One

Adult Learning Theories

Participants will be able to apply key principles of adult learning theories to facilitate effective educational experiences for adult learners.

Establishing a Learning Environment

Participants will be able to create an optimal learning environment by implementing strategies that foster engagement, inclusivity, and a positive atmosphere conducive to effective learning.

Cooperative Learning

Participants will gain the ability to differentiate between cooperative and collaborative learning, and effectively apply principles to implement group-based learning experiences that enhance engagement and knowledge acquisition.

Facilitation and Trainer Skills

Participants will be proficient in facilitation and trainer skills, demonstrating the ability to create an interactive and dynamic learning environment while effectively delivering content and engaging diverse audiences.

Facilitation Best Practices

Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to implement facilitation best practices, enhancing their ability to guide productive discussions, manage group dynamics, and optimize the overall learning experience.

Practicum Overview & Assignments

The practicum assignment aims to provide participants with hands-on experience applying theoretical knowledge in a real-world context, fostering the development of practical skills and competencies within the subject matter.

Practicum Review & Ground Rules

To ensure a conducive and respectful learning environment, promoting effective communication, constructive feedback, and a collaborative atmosphere that enhances the overall quality and professionalism of the presentations.

Practicum Facilitations

The practicum assignment aims to provide participants with hands-on experience applying theoretical knowledge in a real-world context, fostering the development of practical skills and competencies within the subject matter.

Structured indivdiual Feedback

Constructive and actionable insights that facilitate the continuous improvement of participants, fostering self-reflection, skill enhancement, and the application of theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Logistics of Delivery

To ensure a seamless and organized execution of training sessions, encompassing effective time management, resource utilization, and technical proficiency to enhance the overall facilitation experience.

Evaluations & Resources

Participants will be able to evaluate facilitation training to assess the effectiveness of the program, measure participants' comprehension and application of skills, and identify areas for improvement to enhance future initiatives.

Certified in administering assessment and developmental tools to target team building, leadership style, work style, emotional intelligence, and beyond, her passion is fueled through assisting others in their growth to becoming significant.

As a Leadership Development Trainer and Executive Coach, I assist executives and HR experts in optimizing leadership development. With a rich 26-year background spanning executive HR, entrepreneurship, engineering, sales, and marketing, I utilize my multifaceted experience to craft and implement people-centric strategies that yield tangible outcomes.
